Day 2 - Getting to Liège
Mrs C is parking the ship in the Rotterdam port as the captain has arrived a little late and she thinks he's faffing around!!! Anyway off the ship and heading to Breda for breakfast.
We got to Breda in record time and found a really trendy little cafe and they served the most amazing snack for our breaky. Chicken ciabatta with mango,Who’d have thought!!!!
Heading off to Liège , leaving Rotterdam on the motorway to get out of the port and then turned south on side roads through beautiful villages and towns. Slow riding taking in the scenery and local cafes for teas' and coffees'. Got into Liège, found the hotel, which we (PC) was very skeptical about. It turns out that Penta Hotels are just excellent. Extremely trendy, great beers, rooms very comfortable so a really good find and great value for money.
Going for Sushi - had a recommendation of the best Sushi House in Liège - Sushi Maison - and yes, well worth the recommendation! It was tremendous!
Funny messages in the lift - the hotel was very funky, modern and had a great vibe about it!!!
Signing off for the night with a couple of beers with the last shot of the night, getting ready for the 6 1/2 hour ride through France tomorrow....
