So we headed off to Berlin in gorgeous weather. Flรถha was one of those stopovers that will be readily forgotten!. On our way the 1st stop was in a little village and this fantastic bakery. The staff were just so lovely and offended so much that we weren't eating their cakes. So we couldn't resist and went in for some gorgeous cake.
You can't see the size of the wind turbines from this perspective, but they were absolutely massive. Again, the photo doesn't capture the beauty of the poppy fields either.

The people are so lovely - we even had a local person stopped at the side of the road and asked if we were ok or needed assistance, as we were parked up. He must have been a biker!!

We found very little in the way of places to eat en-route. It appears that you have to go off the main roads and into the villages. However once in this village we found a Turkish take-away, that also served food (and more importantly) beer, on the pavement. We had the most enormous Kebab and got to be honest, we didn't feel like eating for a couple of days afterwards!!

So here we are for the next couple of days - Berlin, in an Airbnb in the middle of nowhere land! It's a very old, East Germany building that has seen better days. Everything is old and knackered and furniture hand built out of old crates; what a GREAT place to stay!
We stocked up on beer, wine and food and settled in the fo the 1st night. A bit of a party actually. The owners were living right next door so we didn't have the music loud, but deffo had a good time!

Think Mrs C is enjoying herself ๐คช๐บ

The skies were turning on us and we could feel the rain coming, but it was hot hot hot.....
