Day 16 - Day off in Berlin

 Breaky early in the morning before a little ride join to see The Brandenburg Gate.

Just a few photos of our Airbnb, really excellent place to stay - has a Bohemian feel to it and a little communal maybe, although very secluded, very quirky and an overall great place to stop for a couple of days.

Then off to the city for a morning out to see some sights of Berlin.

PC is going for photographer of the year and taking over from Toby!! Brandenburg Gate was very spectacular, although getting in to the city was interesting, as some of the roads were closed due to some American dignatory visiting. We did manage to blag a parking space near the gate and a Bobby-Dooley allowed us to park for 15/20 minutes to photo the gate;
Once finished our touristy bit, we got back in the saddles and drove out to a lovely pub on the river.  Just a little bit of soup for us all before a chill out back at the ranch and a walk back down for tea.
Some of the properties along the route to walk back down to the pub. Ranging from very old world East Germany housing to very modern, expensive properties sitting on the side of a lake, all with private moorings for their very large boats!!
Not too often do you get a fox visiting you whilst having a beer 😂😂😂 nonchlantly wandering amongst everyone and nobody bats an eye, they just ignore this normal occurrence. The wildlife in us got a few more photos, swans, cookoos, although we did miss an enormous rat swimming next to us
The food and drinks were absolutely fabulous; restored the faith in the German style cooking of steak! Very tasty indeed! Needed to start and finish with Jägarbombs' as well.
